I can actually plan for a garden again!
Number one thing will be trying to get it elevated above the rest of the ground so it will drain properly. We just had some rain two days ago and our yard is still soggy. That will probably require getting some yard ties and fill dirt, so I'm not sure how I'll manage that before the growing season starts.
I got a Burpee catalog and went through it marking stuff I would like to get, including some vegetable and flower sets. I probably won't get anything special - most of the plants I could get straight from Lowes or Home Depot, both of which Conway has.
In Feb. I'll be trimming the crape myrtle and the other bushes. I'll also be able to get bags of mulch to spread around in the beds this spring. They really could use refreshing.
